About the Event:
The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), a specialized agency of the United Nations, in collaboration with the Civil Aviation Authority of Brazil (ANAC), is organizing a Regional Symposium on Strategic Trends in Air Cargo, which will be held from 10 to 11 December 2013 in São Paulo, Brazil. This two-day symposium is a comprehensive event with both informational and practical components for executives in civil aviation administrations, airlines, logistics companies, aviation training centres and for industry experts and support personnel with an interest in the trends and strategies for the air cargo market. The event will be conducted in English, Spanish and Portuguese with interpretation/translation as appropriate.
The informational elements of the event are designed to heighten awareness of the current and upcoming regulatory, security and facilitation trends in the global air cargo industry, whereas the practical elements relate to the discussion of issues. Other topics to be highlighted include environmental issues; the safe transportation of dangerous goods by air; and future trends and challenges facing the air cargo industry. The event will provide a unique opportunity for establishing new relationships with civil aviation authorities, academia and industry experts.
